Humaniti recognizes the extraordinary power of Zakat to transform the lives of the world’s most vulnerable. Humaniti is working to ensure that Zakat reaches those who need it most, particularly refugee communities facing unprecedented levels of displacement.

In partnership with USA for UNHCR, Humaniti stepped up to support life-saving Zakat-eligible cash assistance for the most vulnerable refugees. In 2025, Humaniti expanded its commitment to USD 2 million to provide transformative and dignified cash assistance over a two-year period in Egypt and Jordan, helping displaced families meet their most pressing needs – whether shelter, food, healthcare, or education while restoring agency and choice to lives marked by uncertainty.

Humaniti’s partnership for refugees reflects a deep commitment to addressing the global crisis of displacement with sustained, focused effort. By supporting UNHCR’s Shariah-compliant Zakat program, which ensures 100 percent of Zakat reaches eligible recipients through robust, transparent and vulnerability-responsive systems, Humaniti helps deliver assistance that upholds dignity and empowers families to rebuild their lives with hope and resilience.
